Descriptive Test

Descriptive Test Details
The Descriptive Test is worth 10 marks and will be conducted online in English. Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks for each section of the Objective Test to have their Descriptive Test evaluated. Only those who pass the Objective Test will have their Descriptive Test scores considered. It is crucial to understand that the Descriptive Test is qualifying only, meaning its scores will not influence the shortlisting for the Interview or the final selection.
Interview Process
Candidates who qualify based on their performance in the online Phase – II (Mains Examination) will be invited for an Interview at designated centers. This applies to both Generalist and Specialist candidates.
Final Selection Criteria
The final score for each candidate will be determined by their performance in both the Online Main Examination and the Interview. The weightage for these components is as follows: 80% for the Online Main Examination and 20% for the Interview. Candidates must also meet the minimum qualifying marks set for the Interview to be considered for final selection.
