Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the District Technical Support Staff position, candidates must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized board and hold a Diploma in Information Technology from an accredited institution. Additionally, at least one year of experience in the IT field is required.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants is 41 years as of January 1, 2026. Candidates currently working in similar roles under any District Administration in Assam may receive a relaxation of up to 8 years, provided they submit valid documentary proof.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two tiers. Tier-I consists of a written examination with multiple-choice questions worth 50 marks. Tier-II includes a personal interview and a computer skill test, with only those shortlisted from Tier-I being invited. The interview and skill test will each be worth 25 marks, and candidates can earn additional marks for years of service in similar positions.

Eligible candidates should submit their applications using the Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX). Completed forms, along with self-attested copies of required documents, must be placed in the Drop Box at the Office of the District Commissioner, Goalpara, Assam. The application period is from August 20 to September 5, 2026, until 5:00 PM.
