The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 11 Assistant Geologist positions in the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Assam under the Mines and Minerals Department.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a minimum educational qualification of Second Class (45%) in M.Sc in Geology, M.Sc in Applied Geology, M.Sc Tech in Applied Geology, M.Tech in Applied Geology, or Integrated M.Sc Tech in Applied Geology from a recognized university.
Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is between 21 to 38 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC/MOBC (3 years), and PwBD (10 years).
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700 in Pay Band-4.
